The HEPA-CARE® HC500FD Air Purification System by Abatement Technologies® is a versatile solution that can transform a patient room into a CDC and CSA-compliant negative pressure isolation room. With its compact floor model design, the HC500FD is equipped with an H14 HEPA filter, ensuring the capture of at least 99.95% of microscopic particles as small as 0.3 microns. These cost-effective units can provide a high air change rate (ACH) of 12 or more in rooms up to 2,500 to 3,000 cubic feet when used in negative-pressure mode.

Not only does the HC500FD serve as an efficient negative pressure patient isolation system, but it can also function as a recirculating HEPA air cleaner. This versatile feature allows for the reduction of airborne pathogen counts in high-risk areas like ER waiting rooms and treatment areas, providing a safer environment for both patients and staff.

Long-Life HEPA Filter with Strong Aluminum Frame:Each pharmaceutical-grade HEPA filter from Abatement Technologies® undergoes individual testing and certification according to the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology IEST-RP-CC001 standards. These filters offer a minimum filtration efficiency of 99.99% against 0.3 micron challenge aerosols. The HEPA filter is mounted within a sturdy anodized aluminum frame, ensuring durability and preventing warping or microbial growth.

Silicone-Gel Seal for Contaminated Air Protection:The downward-facing flange of the HC500FD's silicone-gel seal creates a channel that directs air through the HEPA filter, effectively guarding against the risk of contaminated air bypassing the filter. This feature enhances the system's overall performance and ensures cleaner air quality.

Hinged Door for Easy Filter Replacement:The HC500FD is designed with a convenient hinged front door secured by two Phillips machine screws. This feature allows for rapid access to both the HEPA filter and the 2" particulate pre-filter, simplifying the replacement or maintenance process for these essential components.

Integrated Digital Touchscreen:The HC500FD features a high-visibility, color LCD touch screen with an intuitive menu-driven interface. After entering the password, users can access various operating parameters, monitor system status, and select from five airflow settings. The display also includes indicators for unit power, pre-filter replacement, and HEPA filter replacement, ensuring optimal system performance and maintenance.

Safety Certified:Every Abatement HEPA-CARE® unit has undergone thorough testing by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) and bears the necessary certifications, affirming their compliance with relevant OSHA, UL, and CSA electrical safety standards.
